Irani Cafe, Kalyani Nagar, Pune

The café is located in Kalyani Nagar, Pune -one of the IT hubs of the city. "Elegant yet Affordable - is what the decor clearly spells
out. This project demanded a detailed study of history of Irani cafes, their art and craft materials. The walls of the café narrate a story of lranians shifting to India and building their own set of cafes. Elements such as mirrors, carpets, tea vending machine, creative plates and frame form an important part of the wall elevations.
